Proudly Offering Cosmetic Services at Wichita Vision Institute

cosmetic services

At Wichita Vision Institute, we know that the way you feel about yourself is incredibly important to your overall quality of life. While we have focused on your sight for years, we are now proud to tell you that we are also now offering several popular cosmetic services that can help you with many of your aging concerns. Whether you are unhappy with the wrinkles found across your face or are merely looking for a way to look more youthful to those around you, we can help you with a safe and effective treatment provided by Dr. Patel.

We are proud to offer the number one cosmetic service in the world, which is Botox. Botox is the best minimally invasive treatment for lines that are only present when you are moving your face or making expressions. These lines are most frequently found on your forehead and around your eyes. However, we can use this treatment to smooth out those fine lines. Botox works by limiting the movement of the tiny muscles located just under the skin so that they cannot contract and wrinkle the skin.

Wichita Vision Institute also offers dermal fillers, which are appropriate for those lines and wrinkles that are not affected by Botox. Once wrinkles sit in your skin for a time, they eventually form into permanent lines, known as static wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers, such as products from the Juvederm and Restylane lines, fill in these wrinkles with the gel-like substance in them while also drawing moisture naturally into the area over time. Dermal fillers work throughout the face and are especially effective on marionette lines and nasolabial folds. All of our wrinkle reducers are temporary, and you must come back in every few months for follow-up treatments so that you can continue seeing great results.

Finally, we know that the eyes are about more than just vision. While your sight is one of your most important qualities, we know that the cosmetic beauty of your eyes is also important to you. That is why we provide expert treatments with Latisse, a prescription-only product to improve the strength, length and beauty of your eyelashes. It may be right for you if your eyelashes are very thin, brittle, short or falling out. You will apply this solution nightly at home on your upper lash line. With continued applications, you should be able to see amazing results within four months. However, your results will only last as long as you continue using Latisse.

We are proud to help you with your cosmetic needs as well as with your vision at the Wichita Vision Institute. Do not let our name confuse you. We offer far more than eye examinations, cataract and glaucoma treatments and laser eye surgery. Whether you want to smooth away lines and wrinkles or experience gorgeous eyelashes to set off your eyes, we can help you feel great about yourself and help you look more youthful. Contact us today to learn more about our cosmetic services at the Wichita Vision Institute.
